Governor Holcomb of Indiana has ordered flags to be flown at half staff on Friday, September 2, 2022 from sunrise to sunset in honor of a fallen marine, Sergeant Jackson Payne Wright. The marine passed at his base in Hawaii on August 20th. According to Legacy.com, this is also the day of the Marine's funeral in Huntington, IN.
All businesses and residents in Huntington county have been asked to lower their flag, as well, in honor of Marine Sergeant Jackson Payne Wright. May he rest in peace.
