On September 27, 2022, all New Jersey public and government buildings will fly their flags at half staff from sunrise to sunset in honor of Former Governor Florio. According to the Washington Post, Governor Florio served 15 years in the US House of Representatives until becoming the governor of New Jersey in 1990.
We mourn with his family and all who loved him, since he passed on September 25th, 2022. All New Jerseyans are welcome to fly their flag at half staff in honor of Governor Florio.
